Large systems of Lotka-Volterra equations are used on a daily basis in theoretical ecology to describe large systems of interacting species such as food webs, host-microbiota or plant-pollinator networks. The analysis of these systems still continues to raise open questions about feasibility, stability, transition to chaos, etc.

The aim of this conference is to bring together specialists from theoretical ecology together with specialists from physics and mathematics to present the state of the art and to open new perspectives following recent progress in the theory of large random matrices.
